MOOG G122-824-002 PI servo amplifier

The MOOG G122-824-002 is a proportional and integral (PI) servo amplifier used in closed-loop applications. It is a general-purpose amplifier that can be configured for a variety of applications using internal switches and trimpots.

The G122-824-002 is a functionally equivalent replacement for the older G122-824-001 model. It adds a 4-20 mA option for input 2, an output step push button, and improved thermal performance. It also has a selectable lag of 55 ms.

The amplifier has three input signals: two single-ended and one differential. These signals are summed to produce an error signal, which is then amplified proportionally and integrated. The proportional and integral signals are then summed together and output as a current or voltage to drive a servovalve.

The G122-824-002 is powered by a 24V DC supply and is housed in a compact DIN rail mount enclosure. It has a CE mark for compliance with European safety standards.
